Duart Appeal U.SA. donations are received in U.S. Dollars (USD); however, Donor Recognition Levels are set worldwide at Duart Castle based on Great British Pounds (GBP). Please specify your desired donation amount in either U.S. Dollars ($) or Great British Pounds (£). If you specify your donation amount in Pounds, it will be converted to U.S. Dollars at the current exchange rate shown below.

All donations over the campaign will aggregate to the donor recognition levels detailed below.

*If you elect to make a repeating donation, the donation amount will be assessed today and will recur at the frequency you select. You may discontinue your repeating donation at any time or allow it to continue through the end of the fundraising campaign on June 30, 2021.

DONOR RECOGNITION LEVELS

  • Guardians: Donors who contribute £200 GBP ($244 USD) & above will receive a unique Duart Castle Guardian badge (pin) and certificate.
  • Life Guardians: Donors who contribute £1,000 GBP ($1,219 USD) & above will receive a Duart Castle Guardian badge, certificate, signed photograph of Clan Maclean Chief Sir Lachlan standing in front of the Castle and be granted lifetime access free of charge to the public areas of the Castle during opening hours.
  • Patrons: Donors who contribute £5,000 GBP ($6,095 USD) & above will receive all of the recognition of Life Guardians and a Clan Maclean Crest.
  • Chief's Circle: Donors who contribute £25,000 GBP ($30,476 USD) & above will receive all of the recognition of Life Guardians and an engraved Quaich.
    Chief’s Circle donors can have their names inscribed in stone and Patrons and Life Guardians can have their names written into registers held in the Castle for public viewing.
In the future, relatives visiting Duart Castle and sighting the names of these donors will feel great pride in the roles their ancestors played in sustaining the Castle.

When a donor gives more than one donation, these amounts will be progressively aggregated over time for the purposes of determining the upgraded donor recognition level and associated benefit.

100% of donation proceeds are being directed as contributions to the Duart Castle Appeal.

All U.S. tax-deductible donations on this site are contributed through Clan Maclean Association CA, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation supporting Scottish Cultural outreach.
